Business 101 ONLINE

Before you enrol, please be aware of the following:

All students must attend a minimum of 7 out of the 9 classes each term in order to receive a pass. If this is not possible, you will need to discuss this with your lecturer or the admin team.

You can request an extension from your lecturer for the final assessment, however, the maximum extension is two weeks. If you are unable to hand in your work by this time you will need to resit the class. If it is due to extenuating circumstances, please discuss this with your lecturer.

If your circumstances change and it is no longer possible for you to study, you can defer your course to the next term up until week 5. Refunds can only be given if you withdraw from the course before the census date, which is the last Friday of the previous term. Please be aware You will still be forfeiting your 20% non-refundable deposit.

Duration

Nine weeks, one class per week, three hours per class. Students should expect to do an extra six hours per week of their own work.

Business 101 is an introduction to the day to day running your photographic business and planning your new venture while avoiding coming pitfalls people encounter. This course aims to walk photographers through the first steps of opening a photography business in Australia and provide a foundation in which to build.

In the timetable dropdown box you’ll notice that each class will either specify if it is, online only, in-person only or mixed. If you select a mixed class you will get to choose if you would like to study the course online or in-person when filling out your enrolment form.
